What is the point of interrupting the news and sending loud, irritating blasts repeatedly to my cell phone in Miami to inform me of an Amber Alert in Tallahassee? Am I supposed to rent a jet and fly up there to stand along the highway to look for the abductor's car? Who is in charge of this chaotic and illogical Amber Alert project? It makes so little sense it must be under the control of yet another incompetent person appointed by Trump.
