It was never easy to make a doctor's appointment. Now it is impossible. First of all your have to wait on a queue for them to answer the phone (15 to 20 minutes) all the time having to listen to god-awful repetitive music (if you can call it that). Then you are either told to leave a message or have to deal with an incompetent staff member who often speaks with a very thick accent who assures you the only appointment they have for your possibly terminal condition is 8 months away. To add to this your greedy physician who makes a fortune threatens you with a stiff cash penalty if you are late for the future appointment or don't show up at all. If you have a doctor who doesn't overbook who has a staff who answer the phone promptly and do their best to give you a reasonable appointment consider yourself fortunate to enjoy such a rare privilege while most of us in need of medical care are still on hold.

NO ONE GETS BLAMED.

I see too many stories these days about children or teens who are accidentally killed by guns that were not properly locked away. Recently one teen killed his brother, while another child was shot too death by a gun left accessible to him. What angers me is that the laws designed to imprison those who left these guns unattended are never held responsible, never arrested, and convicted of the dead child's death. Our hypocritical governor DeSantis who claims to be such a law and order figure hasn't recommended punishment for any of these careless gun owners that I can see.

I just wasted eight hours of my life watching one of the worst Netflix series ever: 1899. I should have seen right from the beginning that this inexorably stupid movie had no story, no plot, no logic, no nothing. I was taken in because it was filmed aboard a ship and looked interesting, but I soon realized this ship and plot was going nowhere, yet I stayed aboard through every absurd chapter. The themes, what there were, were constantly repeated as was the annoying line, "Wake up." The dialog was dippy, the characters cliche, the reveal at the end meaningless. At one point a frequent gimmick: passengers going through shafts from the ship in a stormy sea to a barren earth landscape was so repetitive it became comical. I advise anyone who is tempted to watch this stupid movie change their mind, By the way there was no reference and no connection to the end a century, so even the title was idiotic. (P.S. How stupid must the citizens of Colorado be to elect Lauren Boebert? This angry harridan doesn't have a brain in her head but does have a lengthy criminal record. THE SPITE VOTERS.

One wonders. Who are the  morons who voted for Marjorie Treasonous Greene and Lauren Boebert. Are they totally ignorant misinformed dolts or just malcontented troublemakers, so lacking in any success that they choose to sic these feral bitches on society. It's not possible that these voters are unaware of how mentally disturbed these misfits are, and how pathetically ill-educated their rants. Marjorie who is wealthy is still a low-brow hillbilly shrew lacking in proper English and any formal education; while Lauren despite where she lives is trailer trash so foul-mouthed crude she is always remembered wearing burlap. One has only to look at their faces to see the anger, hatred and bitterness of two warped and ungrateful harpies who have not found a shred of happiness despite being blessed by fate. Yet thousands of American voters decided to place these two vulgarians in Congress as some kind of revenge for their own false disappointments in life. One hopes that those who cursed us with these two harridans don't have children whose innocence they will poison with their jaundiced version of the world.

If you have any familiarity with German propaganda, you'll recognize the danger in DeSantis ads. For starters they're all lies. Each one is a string of falsehoods designed to make DeSantis appear to be the loving father, the loyal husband, a true friend when he is in fact the ambitious dictator. Like his mentor Trump, DeSantis is a megalomaniac with no interest in anyone but himself and given a little power will begin to form a corrupt leadership that will allow no room for disagreement. You saw a hint of it when he scolded those students for choosing to wear masks; when he wrongly tried to punish ex-prisoners for voting; when he carelessly spent public money to send those refugees on a million-dollar plus fool's errand to Massachusetts. But the ultimate arrogance was achieved when he produced a commercial suggesting that he had been chosen by God. That  is the height of arrogance and should warn any sane person as to how insane this charlatan is. With the election of Donald Trump, America began to suffer like a house overrun with rats. If America's voters are as blind to the evil designs of Ron DeSantis, we will face years of trying to regain our democracy from the corrupt grasp of this modern day Hitler.

Elon Musk is the creep who created and pushes the absurd lie that Pelosi's husband was involved with a gay lover before the altercation. What nonsense. Musk has some kind of problem that leads him to make up such a bizarre theory as that. Even odder when you consider that Mr. Musk himself has had many male lovers and is constantly vying with Calvin Klein to see who can attract the most young studs. That last sentence is a total lie. Now he is a Repulican celebrity who is being celebrated across the country. What does this tell you about today's Republican Party? It tells you they don't approve of justice that isn't their own. It tells you they are ruthless and dangerous and most of all greedy. They will destroy our democracy because it means more money for them, less for you. They are an equivalent to the Nazis of Germany who, once they gained power, increased in cruelty, violence and dictates. As an American you have been free all your life. Are you willing to see that freedom end? It will if you vote for Republicans in any form this election season. You don't have to make America great again. America is great.You have to keep it strong and free and decent and brave. And that means voting blue, blue and only blue at every upcoming election.

If most Americans do the smart thing and vote blue, blue, blue, the benefits are enormous. First of all you will save the democracy Republicans are trying to destroy. You will also rescue Social Security and Medicare from the destructive forces of the so-called Maga Republicans. You will also have the supreme satisfaction of seeing traitors like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Bobert face ignominious defeat. You will make monsters like Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, Jim Jordan, and other treasonous bastards absolutely miserable. If you're a true past Republican, it might be your chance to revitalize the party that was. You will see Doctor Oz pack his carpet bag and go back to selling snake oil from New Jersey. You will cripple super-egotist Ron DeSantis's campaign to become a book-burning American dictator. You will save every woman in America from becoming a second-class citizen with no authority over her own body. You will prevent the return of back alley abortionists. You will aid Americans with student loans from the burdens of excessive interest and shut down the fountain of forgiven loans to such hypocrites as Marjorie Taylor Greene. And you will be leveling the playing field between the average American and the super-wealthy, non-tax paying elite upper class many who horde each billion (a thousand million) while you make ends meet. Vote blue, blue and only blue if you want to return this country to a fair, bipartisan, world-admired democracy without the Trumpian lies, the biased Supreme Court, the Christians-only theocracy, the hate-your-neighbor propaganda, and the The American Dream is over philosophy. Do NBC, CBS, and ABC think that we don't notice the obscene number of commercials they load onto the evening news? As many as 14 commercials during a break and later in the news, we get one brief news item before another series of tedious commercials, and this kind of single-item break happens twice. Once again this is nothing short of greed. Surely these networks can make their profits with far fewer breaks, but they want more, more and more profits, and if they have to bore us to get them, so be it. 

THINK ABOUT IT.

Without their Social Security checks and Medicare, your parents are going to be depending on you more and more if the MagaRepublicans win Congress.  However if the Democrats win and keep the house and have even more power, government benefits will remain the same or even better so you won't be needed to keep your parents afloat, pay their rent, and deal with their medical expenses. You may feel you owe the Republicans your loyalty, which is funny because they don't feel they owe you a blessed thing. If you don't want to be deep in the red, vote blue.

So there was embezzler Rick Scott and other racist GOPs standing up for Hershel Walker. You could tell from the shit-eating grin on Rick's face that it pained him to pretend that Walker was a moral family man and not the philandering abortion-favoring fraud that Georgia would be wise to avoid. And why not he crafted them? He hired the sycophants who will say anything he wants. It was easy to make his wife sing his praises however untruthful. She made it sound like he went into combat, which he never did. And what a cheap shot! Getting your wife to lie about you. Ron DeSantis is an attractive, however pudgy candidate. But he is also a book burning, dangerously ambitions, misogynistic megalomaniac, who thinks he has the right to decide a woman's fate, and proved what a shit he was with the Martha's Vineyard stunt, his pissy attack on Dr. Fauci, and his photo opping after Hurricane Ian.Watch his commercials with a clearer mind and you'll see why it's safer to vote blue.

REPUBLICANS WANT TO END SOCIAL SECURITY.

 My partner and I are both 80. Thanks to a lifetime of work and FDR we each get a Social Security check every month. These checks pay for a lot of our expenses. Millions of other Americans are also dependent on them. But the Republican Party wants to do away with Social Security. Imagine the horrific effect that will have on seniors all over America.The Republicans don't care because they're mostly rich thanks to high salaries, sweetheart deals, insider trading and all kinds of perks. Not to mention retirement packages which they don't deserve at all. How can you avoid having your Social Security check ripped out of your hands forever? Simple. Vote Blue. Elect Democrats who invented Social Security and believe in it. Democrats care about ordinary Americans and seniors and students and democracy and everything else that greedy Republicans spit on. Vote Blue. And you will have nothing regret.

ARE YOU REALLY A REPUBLICAN?

 One of the most interesting oddities I've seen during my 80 years is the number of Republicans who are so stupid they don't know they're Democrats.These are people who vote red, but are quick to take advantage of every handout, food stamp, and government allowance while vilifying the party who created these programs. These people are not rich and often not even middle class, but they bitch about Democrats  and praise billionaires and greedy congressmen who are the very people who keep them poor with such acts as keeping the minimum wage as minimum as possible and defeating labor unions. My own sister was a minimum wage worker with two kids and a dependency on welfare, but she insisted that she was a Republican and would vote no other way. Fortunately once she died of cancer (with all her bills taken care of by Democratic generosity) her children began to realize their true political leaning and are now voting blue.

A DAILY ADVALANCHE.

 Surely you've noticed the increased onslaught of TV ads. These advalanches happen on every show every time of day, ad after ad after ad. As many as 14 or 15 during some station breaks. A major offender is the evening news on all three major networks. They offer a lot less news and a lot more promotions for insurance, medicines, and their own damn programming. I notice some personalities like Ari Melber are becoming apologetic about the excessive commercial messages. I can remember when the networks were fewer and television was free. That's when it was suggested that if we paid for TV there wouldn't be any commercials. Instead we have far more commercials than we did back then, and there are more every year, Last year there was an average of six commercial during every break. Now there are between nine and fourteen. The most irritating are for pharmaceuticals which they run endlessly. And we're the only country that even allows pharmaceutical ads. Of course right now another major irritant are political commercials. What is interesting is that the companies and agencies that buy this commercial time don't even get the viewership they pay for. I personally switch to TCM until I think the advalanche is over while others tape their favorite programs so they can zip through the commercials. 

THE NEW ROBBER BARONS

I wish Republicans (and some Democrats) would stop bitching about inflation and blaming Biden. Today's out-of-control inflation is caused by corporations who think if they raise prices nobody will notice or at least blame Biden. One of the worst offenders is Walgreens who charged $28.99 for eyedrops that were $21.00 at Publix, which is also overpriced. Today I went to Office Depot another runaway bandit. The reams of paper which used to be $5.50 are now $15.99. They must love this ripoff because even a small package of Post-It notes were $15.99. Everything else was also overpriced. Greed is rampant today, and it has nothing to do with the government. It's an epidemic of unnecessary price gouging from companies who are making a bundle already but know we're gullible enough to let them make more.

 Ron DeSantis has done a favor for kids all over Florida, though unwittingly. He has given them a hilarious Halloween costume and all they need are white boots. With the boots making the costume, any kid can wear their own jeans and shirt. Of course it helps if you're a bit pudgy. If not you can achieve the appearance of DeSantis girth with a pillow under your shirt.

 Did you happen to catch Ron DeSantis in his new white go-go boots prancing through the desolate hurricane ravaged areas of Florida. Since the boots were pristine white, I assume they never came in contact with anything even slightly staining during his photo op. Now I ask you if a politician isn't smart enough to know that unsoiled white boots are inappropriate, how can he possible make good decisions as governor, much less president.

 You do know when your doctor calls or e-mails to ask you to confirm an upcoming appointment, it has nothing to do with your convenience. It's just that doctors have gotten so greedy recently, they don't want to miss out on a singly paying patient. When they leave a message when I am out asking me to call their office to confirm my appointment, my reaction is "fuck you" which should be yours too. Recently a very neurotic Miami neurologist whose name rhymes with vermin refused to see me because I would not sign a blackmail item that said he could charge me $50 if I was late for an appointment and $100 if I missed it completely.

 I am astounded at the number of supposedly educated persons who say "If I would have known" or some form of that illliterate expression instead of the correct "If I had known". It's an epidemic of stupidity.  Can't they even hear how wrong it is? This morning a guest on the Robin Meade Show cheerfully mouthed that idiocy. No surprise since it is constantly heard on NBC news. Also no surprise since so many news reporters can't even pronounce antisemitic properly. Have Americans given up on proper grammar?

That's an actual line from a DeSantis commercial. Did you ever hear such an incredible line of bullshit? How would this housewife come up with such a fiction? Does she have a masters in Political Tactics? Has she studied political theory. Has she even heard of Gandhi, Mandela, Churchill, Lincoln and Bonaparte? How did she arrive at this absurd conclusion? Did she admire his Hitler-like anti-intellectual book banning? His chauvinistic outlawing of abortion, which is none of his business? His bullying of students and teachers? Or was it his moronic and arrogant Martha's Vineyard failure that won her admiration? She has no idea since that line was fed to her as were all the other egocentric lines spoken by all the other Maga puppets in his "God I'm wonderful" commercials. Megalomaniacs like DeSantis are dangerous because gullible people (of which there are so many on Florida) can't see through subterfuge and believe the most absurd fictions like "there is no greater leader than Governor DeSantis. Keep watching as DeSantis gets pawn after pawn to sing his non-existent praises and shows us how much like Trump he is in his need for constant adoration.

Here's a message to all you ignorant homophobics like Ron DeSantis who also claim they're Christians. Did you ever wonder why if you think being gay is an aberration why there are so many millions of gay men and women everywhere? Did it ever occur to you that it's God's method of birth control? If everyone were straight we'd be up our eyeballs in people. The world is already overcrowded. Without gays I would be unlivable. So stop your bitching and hate talk, and start being. grateful for your gay neighbors who keep you from total annihilation.

THE BEST LAID PLANS OF A MOTHER.

 A Miami neighbor of mine in discussing politics the other day said to me:  "Thanks to Governor DeSantis with his anti-gay stance, book banning, bigotry and Trumpian ego,I can be certain my school-age children will grow up to be unsophisticated, homophobic, uncultured, narrow-minded, racists instead of the worldly, wise, liberal, broad-minded cosmopolitans I had planned on."

Florida voters are pretty stupid. After all they elected Rick Scott to several offices even after he cheated our government out of millions of dollars, most of which he kept. They elected Marco Rubio, a do-nothing senator and liar. And they've saddled us with losers like sexual predator, Matt Gaetz. More than likely they'll vote for the biggest loser of all Ron DeSantis, an egotistic liar and would-be dictator. They'll fall for all the fake data in his commercials in which he has puppets young and old saying how wonderful he is, and shows vanity photos of a younger himself in another self-congratulating ad that almost suggests he was a war hero. Dumb people fall for that "Ain't I fabulous?" crap. Plus he, being ruthless, told a ton of lies about Crist, which ignorant people are sure to believe. So Florida can be pretty confident that Ron DeSantis will win as Governor, but God help us if this charlatan is ever president.

For years the way to get a pizza delivery was to phone your local pizzeria and order what you wanted. Now it's a major complication to order a pizza for delivery and you have to jump through too many hoops to get Dominos or Papa John to deliver. I just ordered by phone with someone I am sure was in the Philippines or South Korea. Which means this will be my last pizza delivery since it's becoming too complex. I don't know about others, but Papa John or Dominos won't get any more of my money.

 The thing I hate most in the world, bar none is passwords. I would like to strangle the person who came up with this annoying requirement on everything we do on the internet. I have no fears of anybody stealing my e-mail, or other irrelevant information, so why this pain-in-the-ass procedure. Passwords originally were bad enough. Now they demand even more complications like capital letters, and symbols. And, I find, that some sites constantly say they don't recognize the password they demanded of you the last time. Today Apple refused a password they said was swell yesterday. Yikes.

ANOTHER DAY WITHOUT E-MAIL THANKS TO THE INCOMPETENCE OF COMCAST AND XFINITY. NO REPORTS FROM MY CARDIOLOGIST OR NEUROLOGIST. DESPITE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AND TIRESOME CONVERSATIONS WITH COMCAST MINIONS IN UNKNOWN THIRD-WORLD COUNTRIES. NO RESPONSE FROM COMCAST THEMSELVES IN AN ATTEMPT TO ASSAUGE THE ANGER OF A LONG-TIME CUSTOMER AND NONE EXPECTED. I GATHER FROM THE INTERNET THAT IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR COMCAST TO HAVE MYRIAD MISERABLE CUSTOMERS, AND I BLAME WHOMEVER FOR ALLOWING THEM TO BE ONE OF TWO SOURCES IN MIAMI TO PROVIDE INTERNET SERVICE AS WELL AS  OVERCHARGING AND MANIPULATING VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT. THEY ARE ESPECIALLY GUITY OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY WITH OUTRAGEOUS PRICES AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE PROGRAMMING CHOICES.

Why would a person expect you to pay for something he wanted that wasn't actually needed and is of no use to you. Especially, and here's the really weird part, when he is allegedly a multi billionaire. If he has thousands of millions of dollars why is he picking your pockets. Even the most loyal Trump fans should ask themselves this question. 

SINCE COMCAST DISABLED  MY PHONE FOR NO GOOD REASON, AND THEIR THIRD-WORLD EXPERTS CAN'T SEEM TO REINSTATE  IT, I HAVE HAD TO HIRE A COSTLY TECHNICIAN TO COME TOMORROW SINCE I AM AN 80-YEAR OLD LUDDITE.  IN THE MEANTIME, I AM MISSING IMPORTANT E-MAILS, NOT THE LEAST WHICH ARE REPORTS FROM MY CARDIOLOGIST AND NEUROLOGIST. WELL ONCE AGAIN COMCAST HAS SCREWED UP MY E-MAIL. FOR NO GOOD REASON THEY SUDDENLY MAKE IT INACCESSIBLE, DENY THE PASSWORD I GOT THE LAST TIME THEY FUCKED ME, AND DO NOT RETURN THE CALL THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE. SADLY CONSUMERS HAVE NO CHOICE OTHER THAN AT&T WHICH IS JUST AS INCOMPETENT. COMCAST OR THEIR ALIAS XFINITY IS THE WORST-RUN COMPANY IN AMERICA YET CONTINUES TO GET AWAY WITH THEIR LACK OF SKILLS. I SUSPECT THEY SACRIFICE THEIR BEST CUSTOMERS TO BENEFIT A GOOD-PAYING ADVERTISER SINCE WHEN MY ACCESS TO E-MAIL DISAPPEARED IT WAS REPLACED BY AN ADVERTISMENT FOR LENDING TREE WHICH SEEMS TO BE PERMANENT.

Are you a Trump fan?  Then I hope you're a millionaire because he doesn't like poor people.  And I hope you're thin because, despite being fat, he hates fat people.And of course he would dislike you unless you are well-connected, well-dressed attractive and famous. And if you ever look at some of his earlier videos you will know he admitted to being pro-choice and an atheist. But you probably don't want to know that since they are facts. If you don't qualify for any or the above, then Trump only loves your money. There isn't one person in this photo that he would invite to his home or even shake hands with (not even that little blonde girl in the lower corner since he's now impotent).  Do you see him hugging people at his rallies, kissing babies, making generous donations to charitable causes? PREYING DESANTIS

If you study them closely you will see that every Ron DeSantis commercial is a lie. He suggests he's pro freedom but he''s anti-freedom. Consider his stand on abortion in which he gives himself more power than women. He tried to make the ex-convict voters look like frauds when they were merely confused innocents. DeSantis is a man with a god complex and enough minions to promote a false image  of a kind leader who is, in fact, a power-hungry egotist who has already caused deaths (check his no-mask dictates) and chaos. Ron DeSantis is a homophobic, book-burning, anti choice, Trump-grown opportunist.

Before you vote for DeSantis based on his fraudulent commercials, take a closer look.

In all the bios for representative Jim Jordan, his height is listed as six feet. Then why is he always shorter in every photograph he takes, notably with Matt Gaetz who towers over Jordan and even he isn't six feet. From the way Jordan rants and raves and yells, it's easy to see he has a Napoleon complex, but isn't it going too far to promote your height as six feet when anyone can see you're much shorter than that. But then again he is famous for lying about that Ohio State University scandal, so we shouldn't be surprised.

IF HE WERE A RICH MAN!

I feel pretty sure that the average Republican doesn't know that a billion dollars is a thousand million dollars.  Because if they believe that Trump is a billionaire, they might wonder why a man with a thousand million dollars is always so eager to make a few thousand more. If he loved his fans, as a billionaire he could give them their Maga caps instead of selling them. He could skip his penny ante attempts to get them to contribute to his war fund. With a thousand million why take the hard-earned money of his adoring throngs. If he were a billionaire, he could spend lavishly, which he doesn't do and certainly not charge costly VIP tickets to attend his rallies. If he were a billionaire, why does he so often stiff a supplier, when even $10,000 would be peanuts. Financial experts say that if Trump had invested the money his father gave him, he would be a billionaire. But, being an egotist, he invested it in casinos, an airline, vodka, cigars and other lost causes and wasted millions upon millions of dollars. So Trump is not a billionaire. He is possibly a millionaire desperate to regain the money he lost in the past. How?  By conning all his devoted cultists with scheme after money-making scheme. In short, no different from most televangelists. Fortunately he has reached America's most needy, unsuccessful ignorant losers who are not smart enough to see what a charlatan he is but are so ignorant and uneducated they probably don't know that a billion dollars is 1000 million which Trump does not have and probably never will.

The smartest thing any Republican can do is be a Democrat since they are they only party trying to save our trouble democracy  But the second smartest thing a Republican can do is go back to being a Republican. That was the party you originally embraced back when they had standards and morals and ideas for the future - before the cult of Trump. You remember when elections were fair, when they didn't openly hate Latins and Blacks and free speech and The Constitution itself. When they weren't promoting Neo Nazis like DeSantis, hate mongers like Ted Cruz, bullies like Jim Jordan, thieves like Rick Scott,  and degenerates like Matt Dietz. When you didn't have hateful nutcases like Green and Boebert shrilling constantly on the Internet telling one psychotic lie after another. Be a Republican when it was a different standard of belief not a demented standard of evil. When there were patriots worthy of your admiration, heroic presidents like Eisenhower, a man who helped us win a war unlike the combat-evading cowards like Trump or the many other frightened Republicans in Congress. Go home to a home that was a safe, fair, honest two-party democracy, not a pack of GOP wolves obsessed with wealth and willing to lie constantly in order to have more. Go home to the sane, logical, kinder, safer world in which you were raised. If it's not safe to vote red in these traitorous, dictatorial  times, don't vote. Or vote blue and wait until the reptilian Maga Republicans have been squashed and true patriots like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger and an army of Republicans like you can revive your once proud, stolen party.

Who is creating today's commercials, grade school students? I saw one this morning for Oscar Mayer in which a woman falls from space onto a slice of bread. She is soon blanketed with a slice of ham or turkey. After this a pile of meat slices completely cover the female sleeper in a way that would suffocate her. Is this supposed to be clever or creative, or worse appetizing? What is the advertising department of Oscar Mayer thinking? And sadly this is just one of the truly stupid commercials from one leading company.

MONSTERS ABOVE THE LAW.

 Gun manufacturers are murderers.  They continue to make assault rifles that are designed to kill innocent people, and they will continue to do so. They try to blame the maniacs who buy them, but make them available to those maniacs while they reap huge profits. Our government, mostly Republicans, are useless in stopping this carnage. There is no need for assault rifles, but  the law keeps allowing their manufacture and distribution, no matter how many children are murdered, no matter how many parents are mowed down in cities across America. Our laws protect the multimillionaire owners of death-designed products and will continue to do so. THE BEST MOVIES WE NEVER SAW.

 We tend to think that people in power are smart. And while they often are they can be incredibly stupid and short-sighted. Take for example 20th Century Fox and Colonel Parker. Both Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley were great talents whose values were wasted by a stupid studio and a mediocre promoter. Monroe want to play Grushenka in The Brothers Karamazov, but was denied the opportunity by her studio. They also refused to let her do the lead with Frank Sinatra in the never-made musical of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and the role of Lola in Damn Yankees with Tab Hunter and Of Human Bondage with James Dean. Three possible classics not to be. Also imagine how much more powerful Bus Stop would have been with Elvis Presley paired with Monroe. It was suggested but nixed by the moronic Colonel Parker who put Presley into role after shallow role when Elvis had the talent for bigger projects like Oklahoma, Carousel and the aforementioned Bus Stop. The cinematic talents of both Monroe and Presley were wasted by greedy, unimaginative men who thought they knew better. Presley caved because he felt he owed the Colonel something (he didn't)  Monroe because she was easily threatened and overpowered. The loss was ours, lovers of films who would have had more than a handful of great movies starring two of the most incredible talents of their time.

A PLETHORA OF LIARS.

 It's very discouraging how many lies people tell these days. Trump is, of course, the grand champion of lying. But there are many others. Almost every person who does a Prevagen commercial lies about their improved memory. All weight-loss quick fixes are lies. And a major liar is the Oxygen network. They list as new all their crimes shows subtitled "Secrets Uncovered." They are all just old repeat programs with maybe one minute of new content, if that. All politicians lie, Republicans far more than Democrats. And so do all mattress makers who charge a fortune and promise a world of benefits. Like I said, it's very discouraging when you consider all the pants that are on fire these days.

WHO MAKES THESE KILLING MACHINES?

 One of the cliches about mass shootings that the news networks sprout is that "these weapons got into the wrong hands." Bullshit. When it comes to assault weapons there are no "right" hands.They are weapons of murder, designed for war, designed to slaughter human beings. And one should be wary of anyone, anyone, anyone who owns an assault rifle.

MORE REPUBLICAN-SANCTIONED MURDERS.

 Today six innocent people were killed In Highland Park, Illinois, with the blessing of the gun-happy Republican Party and a majority of the Supreme Court. These are the dangerous elements of our country who have provided the means for serial killers to operate and often escape justice. It was a right wingers jury who overlooked the murder of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin and let cold-blooded killer George Zimmerman go free. It was right winger nut Tucker Carlson who embraced and still condones double murderer Kyle Rittenhouse and encouraged another moronic jury to set this killer free. It is the Republican Party that defends the right for non soldiers  to own assault weapons whose only use is to slaughter men, women and children, And it is the rogue majority of the Republican Supreme Court with their demented definition of the 2nd Amendment who pave the way for still more mass shootings. Enjoy this Fourth of July because, unless you vote blue in the future, this may be your last Independence Day.

 On Watch Facebook a clown pulls a chair out from under someone seated. That person falls to the floor in a way that could damage their spine and back. The clown runs off to victimize someone else. I wrote that the clown deserved a punch in the face. I was banned from any further comments since the censors thought my comment was too harsh. Apparently they thought showing someone pulling a chair out from an innocent, unsuspecting victim was perfectly acceptable. Interesting the high standards they have for readers despite the low standards they have for video contributors.

Are you really going to let this man determine your entire future. He needs to be impeached before he does more damage.

Are you willing to see it replaced by chauvinistic old men whose only two gods are power and wealth?
