I, for one, am not the least bit surprised to find out that Elaine Chao is a crook. As Secretary of Transportation, she apparently did a lot of unethical favors to profit both her father and her sister's Chinese shipping companies. Add this to the other illegal ways she increased her fortune during her time in office, as did her equally greedy husband Mitch McConnell. We still don't know why she left office late last year, but I'm guessing it was to avoid some kind of illegal exposure. It seems, no surprise, that the Trump administration declined having her investigated or charged with anything, considering how ugly her ugly husband can be. I imagine Biden will be just as lenient, unless of course, McConnell gives him the Obama treatment. Then who knows?
