AT THE MERCY OF MILLIONAIRES.

 Well they're still struggling with the relief bill. It seems that Joe Manchin of West Virginia doesn't want people in need of help to get $400 a week, though, being a millionaire, he has no idea what it is to be in dire need of money. So because of his indifference, they're rewriting the bill. But then the entire Senate has lots of millionaires. Maybe that's not a good idea, hard-working people being dominated by essentially lazy parasites who can't relate to a missed rent payment, an overdue utility bill, or not being able to afford that expensive toy your child wants. Being a country of haves and have-nots is not so terrible when the haves care about the have-nots as many, like the Gates, do. But it's the cold-hearted Manchins, money-grubbing McConnell's, and other smug wealthy Republicans that don't care that makes life difficult for those not lucky enough or educated enough to have amassed their own fortune. By the way Mitch McConnell is so cynical and so out of touch with Americans that he thinks getting that princely $300 a week will make recipients not want to work. That's how sick he is. 

THE ANNUAL ACHE.

 I received a postcard yesterday that read "FREE TAX PREP, done your way!" I was intrigued. I have been using H& R Block for 20 years and it has become increasingly expensive. So I went to the website on the freefile postcard with high hopes. They were quickly dashed. It seemed that every tax preparer on the site has a charge, and I saw nothing about having my taxes prepared for free. This led me to muse about the inequity of annual taxes. Most of us pay a goodly sum every year, but I hear that wealthy people pay less or nothing at all. Scientology, which has billions, blackmailed the IRS into giving them tax-free status years ago. And we all know how little Trump pays in taxes. But we're the honest taxpayers of America, who finance our country, and don't know all the tricks of avoiding paying taxes. So I guess I'll keep my 1 pm appointment at H & R Block.

WELL TAILORED PARASITES.

If you're unemployed, struggling, in fear of being foreclosed, homeless or just in need of some support, it might interest you to know that the Republican senators who don't want you to have that generous relief package make $174,000 a year. For that princely sum, they don't have to work very hard, have several vacations every year and lots of perks that would cost you money. So you have every right to be pissed at the arrogance of these snobs, many of whom are traitors, all of whom are biased against any aid to the working man, but totally in favor of plans to help the wealthy and large corporations. They have no idea of how difficult it is for most people to make ends meet. But what's even worse, they could't care less. It's the Democrats who fight to make your life easier. Don't lose sight of that. Yes, they're well-paid and well off, too. But the difference is that they want everyone to be safe and secure, and the Republicans only want things for themselves, which is very obvious if you just watch the news.

THE HOUSE IS A HOUSE.

Why do so many public figures (like moron Josh Hawley) keep referring to The Capitol as "the people's house"? That's totally inaccurate. The Capitol is a business location. The people's house is and always has been the term used for The White House, to suggest that it is not just the home of the President and his family but the figurative home for all Americans. So stop this Capitol nonsense.

THE MONSTER'S WIFE.

I, for one, am not the least bit surprised to find out that Elaine Chao is a crook. As Secretary of Transportation, she apparently did a lot of unethical favors to profit both her father and her sister's Chinese shipping companies. Add this to the other illegal ways she increased her fortune during her time in office, as did her equally greedy husband Mitch McConnell. We still don't know why she left office late last year, but I'm guessing it was to avoid some kind of illegal exposure. It seems, no surprise, that the Trump administration declined having her investigated or charged with anything, considering how ugly her ugly husband can be. I imagine Biden will be just as lenient, unless of course, McConnell gives him the Obama treatment. Then who knows?

CATS WITH DIABETES

If you have a cat with diabetes, you've got a lot of extra work on your hands. First of all, you may have to give your cat a shot. Not fun. Plus a diabetic cat's urine tends to make cleaning the litter box much more difficult as it hardens the litter and is very hard to remove. This means more work and buying more litter. I had this problem until I discovered an amazing invention: The Smart Box. First of all, let me tell you I have no relation to this company, and don't even know where they are. I bought my smart box in  Oregon. The Smart Box doesn't use litter It uses safflower seeds, which are bird seeds. It is much easier to remove poop from these bird seeds, and since the urine doesn't cling to the seeds it flows through them to an easy-empty pan below. It made my life so much easier. It's cleaner. It's simpler. It's far more economical. I've included a visual below. 

AFTER ANDREW'S APOLOGY.

 From the evidence I have seen so far in the Cuomo complaints case, it seems like much ado about nothing. Andrew Cuomo, like me, grew up at a time when you could compliment women without it seeming like an attack. Hug a woman  without her going to the police. At 87, I myself, have given many women I worked with over the decades a spontaneous neck rub without them going into a panic. Women are demanding equality, which they should, so if a guy makes a move you don't like speak up. How difficult is it to say, "That bothers me. Don't do it again." Isn't that better than trying to ruin his life and destroy his career. Today's woman should not be the delicate, defenseless blossom of yesterday. Cuomo is also Italian and probably grew up in a culture where kissing wasn't seen as the first step to rape. The man has apologized. Get over it and see if he changes his affectionate ways. Trump did outrageous things to women, including raping a victim in a department store dressing room, which is rarely discussed and still not punished. So why is everyone up in arms by a non-threatening kiss on the cheek? an actual pass? or any once-acceptable action that tells a woman she's attractive or liked. If you want to see disgusting male behavior, watch reruns of The Big Bang Theory. Howard is a prime predator, who makes all kinds of disgusting, improper comments and passes. But he's supposed to be amusing. And apparently millions of Americans find him such.  Still the example women should take from that series is Penny, who is the subject of all kinds of sexual allusions, and either ignores them or takes strong action to repel any unwanted advance. Let's save our outrage for the truly outrageous.
