Since I assumed this would be a very quiet Halloween I bought one small bag of assorted candy bars. I was proved right when I only had two children with their costumed parents. I thought I would be tempted to polish off the remaining Hershey Bars, Paydays, Reese's Take-5s, and Mr. Goodbar. Wrong. I had no idea how tasteless today's candy bars have become. Each one was more boring than the last. Not one of them tasted like it was made of natural ingredients. I am amazed that they still command 10 cents or more for full-sized versions of these artificial confections. And I am guessing that other classic candies are just as deflavored. The last Almond Joy I had was definitely the last one
