Consumer Cellular ads, at best, are acceptable. But their newest one showing a couple on a tacky stage set enjoying date night is very offensive. Why? Because Ted Danson makes a big deal out of shooing the restaurant musician away. His obvious dislike of such musicians, while not uncommon, is not for him to proclaim on television. I lost a lot of respect for this annoyingly opinionated actor with this ad.

LIBERTY MUTUAL
Please. Please ]. Dump this irritating emu campaign which was never clever. I've despised Doug from day one and the more you try to make him likable, the more I loathe him. Almost all your other commercials also suck and I think we've had enough of the Statue of Liberty. Why not hire an ad agency that has a creative staff.
XFINITY
I would say that the recent over-exposed commercials for Wi-Fi are the most annoying spots on the air. This is true of the digusting hillbillies commercial and the mostly black oil-men versions. They are so ill-conceived and annoying I leap to change the channel whenever they come on, which is far too often. But I find some major faults with every Xfinity commericial. Who creates this crap?

CONSUMER CELLULAR
This company has never done a good commercial, and their latest are the worst, The huge piggy bank is especially bad since container that size would hold a lot more than the price given. And when Ted hammers a hole in it and all those coins pose out he says, "I can't feel my feet." Who came up with that stupid line when all he had to do was step back. The man in the phone booth is another losers, a totally uncreative spot, made worse by Ted unnecessarily explaining what cargo pants are. The latest with the cheap restaurant set doesn't even deserve an explanation,
REESES
These frequently run commercials look like they were conceived and executed by a 10-year old at at cost of his weekly allowance. I for one do not want to look inside the cup, I know what's there. Dippy lines like the chocolate saying, "You complete me." are beyond stupid. A product as wonderful as Reese's Peanut Butter Cups deserve better, I'm suspect the same uninspired creative team did Cheese-Its,

No, there is no reliable scientific evidence that Prevagen works to improve memory or cognitive function. In fact, a New York jury found that many of Prevagen's marketing claims were misleading. Federal and state regulators sued the marketers of Prevagen for making unsubstantiated claims and eventually won, resulting in a court order that prohibits the company from claiming the product improves brain function or memory.
SPEAKING OF STINK
I find any ad for full body deodorants objectionable. The idea of using a spray to replace a shower is repulsive, especially when one must view overweight women and shabby looking men spraying their armpits and butttocks. One recalls the commercials for Mitchum in years past. They seem very team in light of these odorous new entries.
POOPH
It came as no surprise to me that this product was a complete waste of money, Sadly there seem to be no rules against false advertising any more, which allows frauds like Pooph to make claims to an effectiveness it doesn't have. The ads are very convincing. But this product stinks.
SPEAKING OF STINK
I find repulsive any commercials for full body deodorants. The very concept of using a spray to replace a
CHASE - DEBIT CARD
While the idea of giving teens their own debit card seems indulgent, I think this red-headed kid is worth every cent they paid him. Surprised neither of the couple who play his parents has red hair. Still this is a good looking and very well done spot.
XFINITY - IN GENERAL
I don't know who this ad agency is but I hate almost alll of their incoherent commercials. I especially detest the annoying overdone WIFI promotions, which makes no sense at all.

SAINT JUDE
I am a great admirer of both the hospital and their ads. Each one is sincere and moving. One in particular grabs me every time. It is the spot where the father gets choked up at the concept that everything is paid for. My only complaint it that I would like to see more of a tribute to Danny Thomas.
CONSUMER CELLULAR
The Piggy Bank ad is a particularly stupid non-concept. For starters a pig that large- even with pennies - would hold more than $600, Still stupid as it is, the man in the phone booth is stupider. Plus despite what they say, I have not found this company easily accessible or particularly honest.

TREVAGO
I have never liked the agency's choice of models for these commercials. The men all look like derelicts recruited from the street and told to act rich and arrogant. In the the three man spot, two of the guys are know-it all jerks who are ridiculing the third less attractive hotel guess for paying more. Maybe it works but I find it smarmy.
J.P.MORGAN WEALTH MANAGEMENT
While not terribly creative this commercial which has a couple discussing travel fantasies does have one amusing line. The guy who is considering a safari, also suggests a ranch. During his rambling he mentions babies. She clearly shut him up by saying baby leaving no doubt that one is enough.

SENSODYNE
While I think Sensodyne products are good, I find their advertising annoying. Their gimmick is to have what appear to be leading dentists suggest each product is superb and is sure to win great praise from consumers. One toothpaste they claim will make your teeth two shades whiter. I bought it and it didn't. The make-your-teeth-whiter claim is a lie among many toothpaste brands, no more believable than an eye-drop will make your eyes bluer.
NOTE: Irritating from many commercials is the ungrammatical use of the expression, "If I would have known" or variations thereof. It's "If I had known" and anything else is illiterate. Also I have noted several commercials where the actor cannot pronounce "miiror".
TREVAGO
The gloating know-it-all males for Trevago are thoroughly unpleasant. They generally look like drifters who were dragged off the street and dressed for the part of a frequent hotel-using businessman. Why they have to be so obnoxious to someone who paid more suggest a very weak character for these money-saving braggarts.
ICE
Kristi Noem's ICE commercials are the creepiest thing on TV. They are threatening un-American warnings from an aging bimbo whose cold-hearted delivery makes you despise her from word one. I can only imagine how frightening these Gestapo-toned ads are to immigrants if I immediately switch the channel.
PRILOSEC
This is a typical illogical commercial. They point out that one fire extinguisher is more effective than ten buckets of water for putting out a fire. Then they show the fire, which would easily be put out with just one of the buckets of unnecessary water being carried by a line of unnecessary men, thus making the commercial meaningless. And this dopey commercial has been running for months,,

FRESH PET
Finally, a campaign with a concept, good writing, humor and even characters we can root against. I love that one guy threw his know-it-all girlfriend out before dinner because she belittled his dog's meal. Equally enjoyable are the guy who lowers the garage door on an evicted guest, and the gangsters who are shown closing the trunk of the car on a mafia member who didn't show the proper respect for Fresh Pet.
