 Consumer Cellular ads, at best, are acceptable. But their newest one showing a couple on a tacky stage set enjoying date night is very offensive. Why? Because Ted Danson makes a big deal out of shooing the restaurant musician away. His obvious dislike of such musicians, while not uncommon, is not for him to proclaim on television. I lost a lot of respect for this annoyingly opinionated actor with this ad.

AMAZON

While bragging about how much Amazon drivers make, they also leave the impression they are

stupid. This driver lets his young daughter choose her own cone. Not having any guidance from

Dad, she chooses the largest, which she can barely handle. What is this commercial supposed to

demonstrate:good salaries lead to greed?

CELEBRITY SPOKESPEOPLE

I really disapprove of Kevin Bacon and other wealthy celebrities doing commercials. They are depriving

other talented less famous people from making a living in advertising. I hate to think of how much unneeded money poured into Shaq's coffers that could have support some actor or actresses family. But

I guess having large egos tends to shrink any sense of sympathy.
